My Muses Card Shop new space of Creativity and Connection! 

This summer we have brought to fruition a long awaited seed of community and creativity- we have opened the doors on a new workshop, art, and movement space in upstairs Carr Mill Mall! 

This beautiful space with exposed brick and a gorgeous arched window brings the rustic whimsy of My Muses Card Shop to illuminate inspiration and light up a new space for shared connection and creation. 

Thanks to this addition, we are able to expand our offerings of classes, gatherings, and experiences from enchanting watercolors to nurturing yoga and theater for the self reflective spirit and more. We are sure to have something for every artist and creative in our community. One of the greatest gifts of calling Carrboro home for our inspired card and gift shop is that it draws in some of the most wonderful and creative people expressing their gifts and passions and musings in delightful ways. We love getting to support our local artists and makers through selling their work in our store, and now we get to collaborate even more by hosting workshops and events to showcase their skills and offer opportunities for our community to try something new, hone a technique, or just gather around lively creative people. 

Something magic happens when we gather together to create and connect. As in all aspects of our lives, our creative process and pursuits can be nurtured in community as we are exposed to new thoughts and ideas and inspired by each other’s expression and story. 

In this third space that’s neither yours nor mine, but ours, something new is born which neither of us could wholly create on our own. We need each other, and we hope that this richness of creativity and connection can be fostered in our array of classes and offerings in our new art and movement space.
